Grant to Individuals

In the near future Assuon Foundation Trust will sets aside a small amount of funding each year to support a few individual students in exceptional circumstances. Grants will be awarded to cover educational expenditure, such as school uniforms, registration fees, exam fees, travel and books.
Conditions and Eligibility
The following conditions will apply to application seeking grant from the Foundation:
- Applicants must be a pupil in a public school
- Must be under 19 years of age
- Must be an indigene or permanent resident of the Nsuaem Educational circuit area
- Applicant must have an overall grade of B or above
Special Circumstances
Special consideration will be given to physically challenged students.
Application Process
Pupils should contact an AFT representative in Nsuaem Educational area for an initial discussion of their circumstances. Applicants who appear to meet the eligibility criteria for a grant will be sent an application form.
Once the completed form is returned, funding decisions will be made by the charity’s trustees. Applicants will be advised in writing of the outcome of their application as soon as possible after a decision has been made.
